Aromatherapy
The aim of a holistic aromatherapy massage is to treat the whole person. After a full consultation, essential oils will be selected and blended together for the individual.

Aromatherapy can help lower blood pressure, regulate heart rate and to release the body's natural endorphins easing stress, anxiety and tension.






Reflexology
A holistic treatment, which involves gentle pressure and massage on reflex points found on the feet and hands. Reflexology encourages the release of toxins, promotes relaxation and improves sleep, reduces stress, bringing an overall balance to the body.





Bowen Technique
Bowen therapy is one of the greatest discoveries in modern health. A gentle and relaxing treatment that does not use forceful manipulation. It consists of a series of specific moves across muscles, tendons and other soft tissue. The technique addresses not only the musculoskeletal framework, but also the fascia, nerves and internal organs, improving circulation, lymphatic drainage and elimination of toxins.

There are essential pauses throughout the session to allow the body time to respond and begin the healing process. Hot Stone Massage
The warmed and cooled Basalt stones create a sensational treatment, every movement with a stone is equal to ten with the hands, melt away stress and tension, relaxing your mind.





Thai Foot Massage

Thai Compress Massage
Based on the holistic priniciples of ayurvedic medicine hot herbal compresses are used to relieve chronic problems such as back pain, muscle pains and inflammation. The thai herbal compress is made up of a wonderful blend of aromatic medicinal herbs which is applied to the body with distinctive movements. A soothing, relaxing treatment.





Seated Acupressure Chair Massage
A fully clothed treatment wonderful for relieving stress and tension around the scalp, neck shoulders and back.




Sports Massage
The benefits of sports massage are the release of muscle tension and pain, it reduces discomfort of muscle soreness and helps improve posture and flexibility.





Pregnancy Massage
Having regular massage during pregnancy will help your ability to relax during the first stage of labour, this can result in shorter and easier births. Research has also shown that the baby can greatly benefit from the massage as endorphins (feel good hormones) are released by the mother during the treatment, massage also encourages the release of oxytocin a pain reducing hormone vital for pain relief during labour.





Natural lift Facial Massage
This Facial Rejuvenation treatment incorporates a unique blend of highly effective techniques from Indian Face Massage (also known as Facial Rejuvenation or the Natural Facelift - a face lift without surgery) with complementary techniques from Japanese Facial Massage, and also Acupressure for the face, these new therapies are becoming increasingly popular with clients, making this a wonderfully relaxing massage to receive.




Hopi Ear Candles
During the treatment a lighted candle will be inserted into each ear, whilst you are lying on your side. Each candle takes approximately 10 - 15 minutes to burn down. A soothing face and neck massage will complete the treatment to enable pure relaxation. You will remain fully clothed at all times.

Reiki

Mediation classes are held at Escape please telephone for more information. Meditation is used for relieving stress, it helps stimulate the relaxation process, can help improve the immunity and healing due to the effect it may have upon our bodies systems.
